WHAT YOU WILL
ENJOY

Picnic and wine tasting.
This trail experience is completely contained on De Bos estate in Hemel and Aarde, and is centred around the awesome fauna and flora that is found on the estate. Designed by the legendary local botanist, Frank Woodvine, the trail winds its way through incredible vegetation to a look out deck on the top of the range that offers incredible vistas of the valley and the sea beyond, with views as far as Walker Bay to Gansbaai in the South and Hangklip in the West. The trail then meanders back down the hill towards the Framehouse, a massive permanent glamping tent that offers very comfortable wine tasting and picnic experiences.

The Frame House at De Bos is a refreshment station from which you can explore both nature and your place within it. Great care has been taken to tread lightly on this delicate landscape to allow the natural fauna and flora to thrive, and to craft a sensitive way for visitors to enjoy it.
