Each Glamtrail has been researched and walked by Tim Lundy and his wife, Gillian.

 

As an accredited mountain guide, Tim Lundy has many years of walking experience and regularly leads hikes in the Western Cape mountains. Tim is author of ‘Family Walks in the Western Cape’, a book of easy walks for all ages and fitness levels, and he is also a member of the local mountain rescue team.

 

Gillian, a content specialist who regularly writes on the topic of financial risk, prefers walking as her method of relaxation and would choose a walking holiday over a beach holiday.

 

The idea for Glamtrails was borne of a conversation with Ezanne Newton Johnson from Newton Johnson Wines, who loved the Hemel & Aarde Valley and believed that others should have the opportunity to enjoy its incredible vistas and unique fauna and flora. 

 

Glamtrails has since expanded to include the Twelve Apostles walking tour, and further Cape Town based tours will be added soon.
